Legal FAQs
Is the Texas flag flown at the same height as the U.S. flag?
Title 4, Chapter 1 of the U.S. Code is commonly known as the Flag Code. It describes how the United States flag should be flown. In particular, Section 7 describes the position and manner of display for the U.S. flag.
Section 7 has many provisions about how the U.S. flag should be positioned when flown with another flag. However, our librarians could not find any that only apply to Texas’s flag.
