Did you know the library has an extensive collection of State Bar of Texas Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses? Our print and digital CLE materials are available for checkout with a current library account.

These courses are produced by the State Bar and cover various aspects of the law. They usually consist of presentations based on attorney-authored articles that are later published.

If you're an attorney looking to complete your required CLE hours, our courses are a great way to earn credit!

Of course, you might be interested in CLEs for other reasons. The courses offer lawyers and researchers a great way to learn about an aspect of the law they may be less familiar with. The materials are excellent sources of information written by experienced Texas lawyers.

What can I access?

You’ll find a list of available courses from the State Bar organized by subject and course name in our CLEs guide. Many courses are held annually, and all available years are shown. You can also search for a specific course using the search box. Search by title, author, or article name.

Courses from 2017 and later are available in digital format in the Lexis Digital Library. If you need access to an older course only available in print, please reach out to us directly as we may be able to provide a copy for a fee.
