Sexual orientation, gender identity, and the constitution
Latest received: 2013-14 Supplement. By Nicolas, Peter. Carolina Academic Press. c2013.
Professor Nicholas designed this text to “teach students all of the procedural and substantive aspects of constitutional litigation regarding the rights of sexual minorities.” The author found constitutional law texts did not include in-depth discussion of the rights of sexual minorities and gender law titles did not cover the constitutional and procedural law aspects fully. We are seeing an increase in the practice aids being written for the attorney assisting GLBT clients in specific areas of law. This publication provides an interesting overview of the constitutional protections for these individuals.
